First Day Back; 2012
My girls went back to school today.
Hurrah! The house is so quiet with only one child, and he starts school on Monday. But if another person asks me What Am I Going To Do With My Time, I think I’m going to scream.
I can think of plenty of ways to fill in the hours between school runs and daytime TV won’t be one! But more on my plans in another blog post.
Anyhow, here is the annual Back To School Photo.
DD1 is going into Year 6 and thinks she’s quite something, DD2 is Year 5 and suffering from being in her sister’s shadow, DD3 is in Year 2.
Look at my big girls, they were all so happy and excited to be going back today. I have to admit I was quite relieved to see them out the door, but there was some sadness there too.
And here they are year by year. In a few days I’ll have a photo of a little boy in uniform to add to these, but for now you’ll have to make do with these 6 years of First Days:

Another year over and another begun; they slip by so quickly, don’t they?
Awww. They grow up so quickly don’t they? Lovely shots. My daughter has just gone into Year 5 and thinks she’s quite something too!
I don’t think it gets any better!
LOL at the what are you going to do with your time comment – I was getting that a lot last summer but now I’m pregnant so that solved it!
Yeah, well that won’t be happening. We might get another puppy though…
