When I see something worthy of a photo, I usually have my phone with me even if I don’t have my camera. As a result my phone is full of photos of things I’ve found interesting, amusing or just weird.
Of course there are holiday snaps, and pictures of kids and pets but I’m not going to show you those here.
Instead here is a selection of the random crap from my phone.
Autumn is a good time to spot fungi during dog walks, but I’ve not seen anything like this just growing in the middle of a field before.
My favourite dog walks are when we meet up with a bunch of other big dogs so they can all run around together and we don’t have to worry about any little ones. Only 2 of these dogs are mine.
While on holiday abroad we enjoy looking out for product names which mean something different in English. The name of the ice cream in the middle bottom had us all sniggering like Mutley.
We told the kids they were allowed to bring two soft toys with us on holiday. This was one of DD3′s choices.
The cicadas on holiday in Montenegro were very noisy, but it wasn’t until the last day in our villa that we actually saw one. It was huge, although the perspective when compared to the cats in the back ground may be a bit off.
When we were in Slovenia the kids went roaming over the fields near our accommodation and found this little guy. Not surprisingly they soon came screaming back to tell us about it!
And finally, during our holiday, we were amused to see that while the ‘Share a Coke with a Friend’ campaign wasn’t restricted to English-speaking countries, the names on the bottles varied between regions.
This post is in response to this week’s theme over at The Gallery at Sticky Fingers.
