See How They Grow Part 2.

A few months ago, I blogged about having had my children’s hands and feet cast as babies. You can read that post here.

Some people love the idea, others find it a bit creepy but I was really keen to get them cast again, now they were older and bigger. I just needed an excuse…

Then along came my DH’s 40th and what better present for the man who has everything, than a moment in time paused, and mounted elegantly in a stylish frame?

During the summer half-term break, I drove everyone down to Rockabelly Lifecasts in Kent and forced smarties down their throats to distract them from having their hands shoved into bags of blue gloop. There was some nervousness at first but everyone relaxed when they realised it didn’t hurt and wasn’t even uncomfortable. They all ended up enjoying the casting and have asked to go back and do it again.

Their father was thrilled with his present and the kids love seeing their ‘silver’ hands on display.

We are now deciding where we should hang it as we want it somewhere it can be easily seen but not easily touched!

Thanks again CJ, we’ll be back!
